AVEVA MES Quality

AVEVA MES Quality software helps manufacturers increase efficiency by capturing and monitoring critical information in coordination with other operational activities and in response to events on the shop floor. MES Quality is designed to capture quality data through manual inspection procedures or direct sampling from automated equipment or control systems. Statistical process control (SPC) provides real-time insight into trends, deviations or non-conformances to enable rapid corrective and preventative action. AVEVA MES software complements LIMS and quality management systems with automated data collection.

Sampling Data

The software dynamically manages quality data sampling requirements according to the work order specification, relieving operators of these disruptive and difficult to manage tasks. This increases planning flexibility and improves overall responsiveness to unplanned events.

Statistical process control (SPC)

Near real-time quality monitoring avoids time delays in reporting deviations and minimizes the impact on downstream processes. SPC analyses can be used to "predict" problems and trigger preventive actions in response to them to avoid losses before they cost time and money.

Predictions
Future sampling plans based on the number of production units are predicted at the level of the standard production rate defined for the product currently being produced. All related operator requests to enter quality data and automatic sampling from connected equipment are performed by the system.
Configuration
Definition of the variables required for the collection of quality data. Creation of sampling plans that must be carried out. Define a quality specification for a product, process or plant by defining the required variables, a sampling plan definition and the SPC rule applied to the data.
Reporting
Many standard report formats are included in AVEVA MES Quality. These include detailed reports on quality characteristics that filter sample data by multiple characteristics, and summary reports that provide details on equipment, product, work order and operating category. These reports are published via a web browser for flexible information presentation.
