In Germany, we supply our solutions to four car manufacturers with over 20 production sites as well as to numerous suppliers.

This position is linked to individual sales targets. To be successful in this role, you should value a structured way of working, have strategic thinking to develop, define and implement your account plans, and have professional execution skills. In this way, you will become part of our 53-strong highly qualified team.

Post & Missions

  • As an Account Manager, you are key to shaping and maintaining long-term relationships with car manufacturers and suppliers in Germany.
  • You will be responsible for achieving the quarterly sales targets and the further development of these customers by proactively identifying and awakening new needs in the context of production conversions, plant or logistics center expansions
  • Your tasks will include confident interaction at specialist and management level, presentation of our solutions and management of complex discussion and negotiation situations.
  • You will successfully build sustainable relationship management with relevant decision-makers on the customer and prospect side as well as with external, regional and national system partners.
  • You develop your sales pipeline and maintain all sales activities within the CRM.

  • Analyze your ongoing performance against your plan, including long-term account strategies with current and planned activities, customer visits, revenue status, and forecasts.

Profil

  • You have successfully completed a degree with a technical or business focus (industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automation technology, business informatics, business administration or comparable fields of study)
  • You have several years of professional experience in technical sales, in an IT company or in the plant engineering, process engineering, process industry or discrete manufacturing sectors. It is important that you can confidently talk to contacts from the IT and OT environment, manufacturing, production control and energy management at automotive manufacturers. Of course, it is an advantage if you have already completed projects with car manufacturers yourself.
  • You convince both on the shop floor and on the executive floor. In return, you have a high affinity for technology topics, new digital solutions as well as basic knowledge of MES, manufacturing processes, machine connection and automation.
  • A structured, proactive and independent way of working as well as – important in sales – a convincing and committed personality.
  • You have perfect written and spoken German skills as well as good communication skills in English.
  • We assume that you are willing to travel in your region and in Germany (approx. 30%).
