TotalEnergies, a multinational energy company, is expanding its energy production to include renewables and aiming for net zero emissions. To reach this goal, it was crucial to accurately measure its current emissions. By utilizing the AVEVA PI System, TotalEnergies collected data globally across all its operations and made this new data pool accessible to its teams. With this emissions data, TotalEnergies has been able to make informed, data-driven decisions, resulting in approximately a 2% increase in operational efficiency on some assets and even greater efficiency gains on others.
